table number holders

this is my 200th post!

ok so now on to table numbers.  nope, haven't done that yet.  as you can tell, this weekend is operation get sh*t done!

i saw these online and thought they could be a cute project and a way for us to incorporate our love of wine in to the big day.  but i'm not sure if it'd be totally out of the theme, or just a cute little accent.
i wish the pic wasn't so fuzzy!  source

i purchased light blue and white baker's twine (want the cheapest place to get it?  go here: http://www.wesellcoffee.com/cgi-wesellcoffee/sb/productsearch.cgi)
and i thought that could be a good thing to use to tie the corks together, if i ended up going that route.  the original intent of the baker's twine was to tie around the muslin bags i purchased to put our favors in.  i figure if we end up using the corks i could just glue 2-3 corks together, saw a line in the top for the table # card to stick in to, and then tie the ribbon around it.

but then... i ran across a few other cute ideas:

i like this but it would only last a few minutes on the table!  haha  source

but then again... do we really have time for another DIY project with 5 days to go?  :)

  1. Such cute ideas! I used the cards provided by the hotel. Don't make yourself crazy over it but if it's important to you go for it.

  2. 5 days...OMG! WOW! Congrats and congrats on your 200th post! Love those little mason looking jars with the numbers on them and it would fit your theme and so would the crab and the lobster...those are so cute! But with 5 days left thats a big project to get into. Maybe you can find some cheap picture frames and print out some numbers with a little crab on it....that one might be the easiest project to get into. Good luck...dont over think it or over stretch yourself. ♥
