what to be for halloween?

totally non-wedding related, but i'm running short on ideas for costumes.  pat's 30th birthday is halloween so we will be heading out on the town :)

in the past i've shown up as veronica corningstone only to find out that a real news anchor was at the halloween party, i was nicole richie one year, and have been a giraffe the past few years because i keep forgetting to think of something good before the day arrives :)  last year i was a giraffe jets fan who happened to run in to the best costumes i've seen in a while!

me and the celebrity jeopardy costumes!

what's everyone else thinking?

  1. We are doing a masquerade theme -- the hubs is pretty much wearing a suit and a hat that I am decorating. I'll be wearing a salsa style dress and a masqurade mask...cheap and easy =)

  4. your husband's birthday is Halloween? My husbands birthday is the day after (Nov 1). I joked with his mom and said the year she had him she could have been a pumpkin and she said she was.

  6. Steve is wearing his seersucker suit from our wedding, but with a bowtie, and being a "20s gentleman"; I'm being a flapper, but I put my costume together, I didn't buy one from a store.

In the past few years I've been Marilyn Monroe, Tinkerbell, Holly Madison from The Girls Next Door, Jean Gray/Phoenix from X Men...

  7. I like that your fall back costume is a giraffe! That's cute. Mine is a cat or a vampire (because I have the teeth). Good luck deciding!

  8. My fall back costume is always a witch. I wear black and stick on my hat. Haha.

It's so hard to come up with something good!

  9. I kinda hate Halloween & didn't want to get dressed up but we're going to a party so I have to. We're going as Bill & Sookie because for the most part - it's just regular clothes. LOL

I DID see an AWESOME idea the other day - the cast of A Christmas Story!!! Pink Bunny feetie-PJ's, the kid with his tongue stuck to the pole, the Dad (hi miniature leg-lamp or box with a "fragile" sticker), the chinese waiters... such a great idea!
