Massachusetts Charming, DIY, Red Barn Wedding: Susie & Bear {Studio SMC Photography}

(c) Studio SMC Photography

A warm late Summer's day, wedding vows under a big oak tree in front of a vibrant red barn, mason jar vases, homemade jam, crisp white paper lanterns, twinkling tea lights, and a lot of love to go around.  These are the kind of lovely little details I love to see - and Susie and Bear are the epitome of true love.  You can see it in their expressions and feel the happiness just shout out from the photos.  I just love this wedding and am so happy to share it with you {with photos from the amazingly-talented Studio SMC Photography!}

From Susie, the bride:
I always thought my favorite part of the wedding would be the reception with all my friends and family, breaking it down on the dancefloor and drinking frozen margaritas. My biggest fear was the ceremony. A well known cryer on any happy occasion, I was scared I wouldn't be able to get through my vows, and thought that I would breathe a huge sigh of relief the moment the ceremony was over. Much to my surprise, my very favorite moment of the whole day was the ceremony. There were tears, but they were the most wonderful tears I've ever experienced. The clouds literally broke as my bridesmaids and I were walking down the hallway and it was a perfectly warm, beautiful day. The love in the air was tangible and I absolutely didn't want it to end.

Here's the photo-heavy loveliness!

I love this bouquet!

Such a happy couple!

LOVE this!
